Logbook – Falmouth to Helford 21-23 July 19

Pencoose Cove – Navionics

Wanting to show our house guest Ellen some of Cornwall but not yet having sails, we decided a short motor to the Helford for a change of scenary and an adventure was in order.  So we stored ship and slipped to the Helford to anchor off Pencoose Cove.  the weather was kind and Ellen sufficiently well as to enjoy the trip.

The anchorage was empty and so we spent a couple of days on the hook enjoying the Cornish sun and swimming in the cove.

Great to see Eclipse back in the water and starting to explore more of the world.

Eclipse at anchor – Pencoose Cove

Late on Monday 23 July, we got a call to let us know the sails were ready and so it was back to Falmouth for Patric and Zane to fit them ready for the big push.  It would also allow Ellen to get home for her house move later in the week.
