Logbook – Motril – Roquetas – 31 Jul 24
Another leisurely start with boat checks and coffee. A quick shower and a chat with the marina staff. A friend is considering lifting out in the later summer and wanted to know if there is a live aboard option and if you can do your own work. Turns out this is an unusual but not unwelcome request and the team can accommodate on a case by case basis.
Most of th day was spent on the engine, a typical day in the Med. But we’re did manage about an hour of sailing once we rounded the corner.
The anchorage was the usual rolly affair but as the day trippers went home we managed to move closer to the break water, avoiding the concrete block and found a less disturbed location for a sleep.
A short run to Almeria planned for tomorrow.
